Position Overview:
Our biomechanics lab and player development department are searching for passionate student or recent graduate to expand our biomechanics data collection efforts during spring training. As a Biomechanics Engineer Intern, you will work hand-in-hand with our player development staff to assist in biomechanics data collection, data processing, and player reporting. Additionally, the successful candidate will choose and develop a research project to complete by the end of the internship with the ability to pursue publication of the research in a peer-reviewed journal.
Location: Camelback Ranch – Phoenix, AZ
Duration: April 1st – May 31st (8 weeks)
Pay: Hourly
Requirements:
- Completed B.A./B.S. (or 3+ year student) in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomechanics, computer science, exercise science, or related field.
- Previous experience with optical motion capture (MAC/Cortex preferred).
- Intermediate programming experience with Matlab.
